Mais um clássico dos anos 90. Esta Barbie Teen Talk levou pilhas novas e fala inglês! Tem a roupa original em bom estado, assim como os brincos e anel. A mala e os sapatos não são dela. Tem várias peças de roupa que se podem conjugar como quisermos. A boneca em si está em condição razoável. Tem bonitos cabelos encaracolados mas a cabeça teve de ser colada porque o pescoço estava partido. Ainda assim, não deixa de ser uma raridade!

Another classic from the 90's. This Teen Talk Barbie took new batteries and she speaks in English! She has her original outfit in good condition, as well as her earrings and ring. The bag and the shoes aren't the original ones. She comes with different pieces of clothes that we can arrange as we prefer. The doll itself is in reasonable condition. It has pretty curly hair but the head is glued, because the neck is broken. Even though, she's still rare!

A Evolução da Sindy

Apreciada por muitos coleccionadores, a Sindy teve um percurso bem conturbado! A Sindy é uma boneca inglesa criada nos inícios dos anos 60 pela empresa Pedigree, surgindo como uma rival à Barbie. Apesar do corpo ter proporções diferentes, era uma boneca bonita, com roupas de qualidade e que reflectiam a moda da altura, além de possuir um mobiliário bem mais realista que o da Barbie. Teve vários facemolds ao longo dos anos, mas o mais procurado nas Sindy vintage são semelhantes aos da imagem. Foi a boneca mais vendida no Reino Unido durante os anos 60/70! Depois de uma tentativa para introduzir a boneca no mercado americano que falhou, os direitos da Sindy foram comprados pela Hasbro, nos anos 90, que lhe deu um aspecto mais americano e semelhante à Barbie. Esta mesma semelhança fez com que a Mattel iniciasse um processo judicial contra a Hasbro, que se viu obrigada a acabar com esse facemold da Sindy. Esta imagem é uma das páginas de uma pequena caderneta Barbie, de 1995, cujos cromos saíam em pastilhas elásticas! Porque não voltam a fazer uma destas! Os cromos representavam as Barbies e roupas mais famosas destes dourados anos 90. Ficavam um bocadinho pegajosos de virem agarrados às pastilhas, mas era muito divertido! *** This picture is from a little Barbie sticker album, from 1995, which stickers were available with chewing gums! Why don't they produce this things again? The stickers pictured the most famous Barbies and her fashions from the golden 90's. It tended to be a little sticky, because they came around the chewing gums, but it was so funny!

Another Collection Update

I've been away for awhile but my collection isn't frozen in time. It has grown at a steady, slow pace to keep finances under control and a collection based on good taste and quality instead of just quantity. Anyway I've also been very busy in my professional and personal life so I don't have lots of imagination right now. Here goes the update to my collection (as far as I can remember): My Clara doll was a gift from my friend Patricia, but she came to me nude. Once in a while I got her a nice dress but Patricia surprised me again and she gave me Marzipan's ballerina dress. Clara was very happy and she loves to pose with her new dress. This Haute Côuture gown has been running away from me since it was released, some 19 years ago. It's rare and expensive. Some while ago I bought one from a Spanish woman but she kept the money and never sent the dress. Finally it's in my collection, no more running. Ok this isn't such a great find, but I alw...
