Girlz' World

One of the latest commissions of mine :) It was finished a while ago and then I realized I hadn't shared it with you folks. William Wallace and Murron, with outfits from the movie beginning. The doll used for William was Finnick, from the Hunger Games series. I had to reroot him of course. He gained a kilt and boots! Murron is a Fashion Fever Kira. I made the outfit and added a Portuguese manufactured miniature basket. It's not visible in the photo but she is also wearing a pair of small shoes handmade by myself. The thistle was embroidered to resemble the original dried plant ;) The next one is a giftset of the movie "Blue Lagoon", the one with Brooke Shields. If it wasn't for the guy rerooting it could be already finished, sigh...

Desta fez, um giftset da série Fringe! Deu trabalho a triplicar mas foi um desafio agradável. As personagens são as duas Olívias das diferentes dimensões e o Peter Bishop. Para as Olívias usei a Barbie Pretty Flowers e a Cool Blue, com algumas alterações. O Peter é um Liam Flavas, também alterado. A caixa foi adaptada do Giftset Elvis e Priscilla. *** This time a giftset from the series Fringe! It was triplicate work but a very pleasent challenge. The characters are the two olivias from the paralel dimensions and Peter Bishop. For the Olivias I used a Pretty Flowers and a Cool Blue Barbie dolls, with several changes. Peter is a Liam Flavas doll that was also altered. The box was adapted from the Elvis and Priscilla Giftset.

A minha primeira encomenda muito específica foi a recriação da personagem Kahlan, da série Legend of the Seeker. Aproveitei a cabeça de uma Raquelle, fiz uma re-pintura parcial nos olhos e costurei as roupas todas! Até o cinto e as armas tive de fazer. Acho que só as botas é que aproveitei. Deu um trabalhão, mas penso que ficou bem conseguida e a pessoa que a encomendou também adorou. *** My first comission was the recriation of the character Kahlan, from the Legend of the Seeker series. I used a Raquelle head but I had to partially repaint her eyes and I sewed all the clothing! I had to do even the belt and the daggers. The only thing I didn't do were the boots. It took a hell of a work to finish, but I think the result was positive and her future owner loves her too.
